Mental Health Awareness Week

Feversham Academy is supporting Mental Health Awareness Week to raise awareness of the importance of positive metal health and wellbeing. This year’s Mental Health Awareness Week is focusing on stress. Research has shown two thirds of us experience mental health problems in our lifetime as a  result of stress.

Mental health and wellbeing is promoted by two of our house charities, Young Minds (Yaqoob House) and Community Links Leeds (Yusuf House).

“We’re here to make sure they get the best possible mental health support and have the resilience to overcome life’s difficulties.” Young Minds

Throughout the week we aim to improve awareness of mental health and wellbeing by providing the tools and resources to recognise, manage and sustain good mental health and emotional wellbeing.
